Undated photo of Karakoram Range, Pakistan (Photo by Uwe Steffens/ullstein bild via Getty Images)(LONDON ) -- Officials said Friday that they found the remains of famed American mountain climber Sarah Mallory Geis, who was caught in a reported avalanche on Broad Peak in Pakistan's Karakoram mountain range.
Geis was part of a team of 10 climbers who went missing midday Thursday.
A Pakistani rescue team said in addition to Geis' remains, it also recovered the remains of two other climbers.
